- Both addresses, with postcodes, and the floor each home is on
- Stairs, lifts, long drives or narrow lanes at either end
- Where a lorry can park, and whether the street has permit parking
- Large or heavy items such as a piano, a range cooker or a safe
- Whether you want us to pack, or you will pack yourself
- Whether you need storage between moving out and moving in
- Your moving date, even if it is only a rough idea

Comparing quotes
How To Compare Our Price With Other Firms
It is sensible to get more than one quote. When you compare them, check that each one covers the same things. Does it include packing? Dismantling and rebuilding beds? Floor protection? Storage, if you need it?
A low price that leaves out half the work is not a saving. Ask each firm for its company number and operator licence too. Ours are 07497153 and OC1109721. Is the quote really free?
Yes. Asking for a quote costs nothing, and you are under no obligation to book. Take your time, compare it with other firms and come back to us when you are ready.
Why can't I see a price on your website?
Because we price every move on its own. Two three-bed houses can need very different crews and vehicles, depending on stairs, parking, distance and how much is going. A price list would be wrong for most people.
What if I don't know my moving date yet?
Send the form anyway and tell us roughly when. Many people ask for a quote before they have a completion date. We can talk about dates once yours is fixed.
Can I get a quote for an office move?
Yes. Use the same form, or call us. For an office move we will want to know the number of desks, any IT that needs moving, and whether you need crates, new furniture or a clearance of the old office.
What happens to the details I send you?
We only use them to answer your enquiry and price your move. The form does not store your details on this website: they are sent to us by email. Our privacy policy explains the rest.
